Meinhardt was appointed to provide consultancy services for the preparation of feasibility-cum-preliminary design for 4-lane of Ambala-Kaithal Section of NH-65 in the state of Haryana to be executed as Built- Operate-Transfer (Toll) Project on Design-Build-Finance-Operate Pattern.

Entire project road is a plain terrain starting at 5+000km of NH-65 and ends at 88+135km junction within SH-11 and NH-65 (Titram More) in Kaithal Town and lies between ZONE III and ZONE IV of a seismic zonal division.

Under the proposed design existing right-of-ways from 30m will be widened to 60m and two major bridges, 20 minor bridges and 71 culverts will be increased to 21 and 150 respectively. Three bypasses have been proposed at major habitations of Ismilabad, Pehowa and Kaithal Bypass. The total length of the project was 88.75 km with paved shoulders.
